As I arrived, the homeowner greeting me at the door. He told me the gist of what was going on and his wife has confirmed one of our maintenance guys were here to do a maintenance today and shortly after they left, I noticed one of the systems wasn’t working upon arrival. I went out to the unit and question and checked over everything all voltage connections, and components. Their safety switch was not tripped to con say pump was not tripping the system, but the outside was off after going out to the outside condenser, I have confirmed that the disconnect switch was upside down After putting the disconnect disconnect switch back on to system turned on great with no codes. It is performing well and cooling great. The Freon levels are normal. No issues to report on the upstairs unit the downstairs unit and question that Caleb says was low. I can confirm that is correct. The system and question is low on charge. I am for the homeowner his options and he would like to wait for now. I need

I arrive back first thing in the morning to install a brand new evaporator coil. TXB is brand new and came with the coil so the homeowner now has a brand new TXB a brand new evaporator coil a brand new compressor and I installed a low pressure switch to make sure that this compressor does not blow out again on low charge. I charged system back up at 7 pounds 410a Also, as a courtesy put my gauges on the other system, I worked on yesterday to ensure that all the pressure readings and everything were good to go System passed its vacuum test and pressure test no other issues to report at this time
Unit was under salt water form the hurricane. We check all the components found TX not working, probably. Evaporator coil is rusty evaporator coil need to be replaced and the.TXV .ohms compressor was high and condenser fan motor overheating. Static pressure was high unit out of warranty. Consultation Code: ENG9KQRGT upon arrival, meet and greet customer go over Work scheduled for the day start tearing out, rooftop condenser and inside furnace cut hole inside of new furnace for return air for return. Air seal Plenum on new unit or 11 flush copper line set hook up, copper at new furnace and new condenser on rooftop nitrogen test 400 psi for one hour pump down to 500 µm. New thermostat new flow switch new drain to wall. Will need to return with running P-trap and correct breaker for unit. Everything else is complete and job is finished. Customer asked to leave gas off at furnace You need a double sided breaker one side of 15 one side a 20 each side is a single pole
Upon arrival, homeowner greeted me at the door. I checked out the whole entire system. All voltage connections and um draws the air handler is spotless. I do recommend a UV light but the pure air electrostatic filter is doing a great job keeping the unit clean. I went outside to the condenser and checked all voltage components and Atras turbo capacitor is working great. The refrigerant charge is not OEM specs Needs a slight adjustment after homeowner approval. I’ve got the required refrigerant needed to get OEM specifications. I can already feel different inside the home . Protection outside is working great a hard kit could lower the Draws of the condenser unit, possibly lowering the electric bill every single time it turns on Recommend UV light on inside Evaporator coil also a hard star can could help on the condenser outside for a lowering amp draw on every single turn on, possibly lowering the electric bill and ensuring a longer lasting condenser.

Confirmed with Stuart that unit was working properly.
is there arrived was greeted by The homeowner went straight to the roof and started pumping down the system so I could do the TXV replacement Re-insulation of the unit. Vacuum down the system to 5 µm and tested the system and held sucked out the drain line and cleaned up the inside of the unit turned everything back on UV light still works great system back up and running to look at unit that was down. We just did it on this call, the evaporator coil leak the compressor is burnt. I need to change the plug compressor and the evaporator coil homeowners would like me to install a low pressure switch to make sure this does not happen again as there is no pressure switches on the system. Job will be done another day

Checked all major components: Freon levels compressor , fan motor , capacitor, rinsed condenser coil, flushed drain line , checked filters . Based on readings capacitor is reading lower than it’s rated and contractor points are burned and are making compressor to work hard . Unit is 14 years old . Recommend customer to see options for a new unit. Customer wanted to replace capacitor and contractor for now.
